History: The original crosses between Primula juliae and P. vulgaris originated at Pruhonice, the Castle of Count Ernst Silva Tarouca, near Prague, Czech Republic, in 1918. The Bergfrühling F1 Hybrids Series was introduced by JELITTO PERENNIAL SEEDS in 1984
